Sharp Jack TV is a production company founded by format creators Elliot Johnson and Amanda Wilson. The company specialises in original ideas, sharply produced for the UK and international market.
Elliot started his career working for legendary director, Michel Gondry, on some of the most exciting pop videos of the 90’s - Bjork, Massive Attack and Smashing Pumpkins. His first producer gig in telly began at BBC music entertainment, on Top of The Pops, Glastonbury and Bowie at the Beeb. He then joined Fremantle Media developing ideas for Thames and Syco, creating and producing the Jack Osbourne show for Channel 4 as well as contributing to the development of X Factor. From there he joined Avalon’s new format division, Tinderbox, where he met Amanda. Success came in the form of the ITV series Tough Gig, and the panel show TV Now and Then for UKTV. ITV Studios head hunted Amanda and Elliot to run Development and during their time there, they devised Four Weddings, The Chase and Who Dares Sings.
